Let's Dance!
I love to dance, preferably with my husband, but on my own is also fine. I often blast out my favourite music, and just dance alone in the living room. I enjoy the freedom and energy. In my younger days I used to like discos. Now my dancing is much more sedate. You're more likely to catch me attempting a waltz or foxtrot. I also love watching great dancers like Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly.
During the current lock-down Michael Jackson's album 'Bad' has been accompanying my yoga activation exercises in the morning. It is impossible to listen to 'The Way You Make Me Feel' without getting up and moving.
So what about you? Do you like to boogie?
Writing Prompt: think of a time when you enjoyed a good dance. How did it make you feel? What was the music? Who were you with? Write about the experience for six minutes without planning, or stopping to edit. Share your thoughts below if you like.
