Shimmering Light

Today is another lovely sunny day. I captured the sun shimmering on my garden pond and reflected on my living room ceiling. Isn't it beautiful?

When you go out for your daily exercise, notice the light. Perhaps observe how the sun filters down through the leaves or blossom on a tree (there is a beautiful tree with blossom in the vicarage garden at St Stephen's). Maybe find some water, a pond in someone's garden, perhaps just fill a bucket, or bowl and put it outside or near a sunny window. How does the light hit the water? What colours can you see? Are there any reflections you notice? Maybe just stand outside for five minutes and observe the sky. Notice how the lights changes with each moment.

Writing prompt: write about you observations of light. Feel free to leave your comments in the box below.
