"Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."
I love to sing, and am a member of a choir and a small singing group. I come away from singing sessions feeling uplifted and joyous. While there is evidence that singing is good for both mental and physical health, it's also to do with the people I sing with. They are a mixed bunch of people, each contributing their unique personalities and talents, enriching, enlivening and helping to bring out the positive qualities in others.
Writing prompt:
- Which 'charming gardener' are you grateful for this week? Write about them for five minutes.
- Now write them a letter of thanks, expressing how they made your soul blossom; you can choose whether or not to give it to them.
