All Creatures Great and Small
I found a massive, brown, slimy slug in my kitchen the other night. I don't like them, so invited my husband to dispose of it! (My two cats treated it with the contempt it deserved). It's not the first one to creep in recently. Maybe the damp weather has tempted them to try indoors for food. Yuk! My garden in full of slugs and snails at the moment, all guzzling away on the plants I so lovingly care for. There are also newts in my pond, along with frogs and the occasional toad in the undergrowth. We used to have regular evening visits from hedgehogs and foxes, although I haven't seen any for a while.
