Last Saturday night we were able to go to the cinema again - what a treat. We saw 'Nomadland' at our local Elland Rex and, as well as seeing a great film, we enjoyed listening to the cinema organ before the show and in the intermission. (Click here for a quick sample.) The evening felt like a small step towards normality.
Writing prompt:
- What little steps towards 'normality' have you enjoyed this week. Maybe you had a coffee and a chat with a friend in your local cafe. Perhaps you stayed overnight with a family member you haven't seen for months. Did you feel over-joyed, or rather apprehensive? Write about it for a few minutes.
We went on holiday to Windermere and also watched Nomadland in the tiny cinema there. It was a lovely break and all the more appreciated because it had been a year since our last visit.
